Instrument Petting Zoo

The Minnesota Orchestra had a Petting Zoo where children were encouraged to befriend a musical instrument.

Unfortunately, this zoo closed after one season.

Sunday morning breakfast at The Salem Lutheran Dining Hall, within earshot of the priest offering communion to the full benches-turned-pews at the nearby Bandshell.

It is so difficult these days for families to sit together for a meal, yet this family seemed very comfortable crowded on a very Fair-red bench.

I think it is only natural that Minnesotans speculate what they could put on a stick to earn the reputed big bucks in just 12 days.

I swear, we thought of Fair Hair a year prior to seeing what is now the popular "Fair Doo."
So, why, as with most ideas, didn't we doo anything with it?

It had poured all day, on this, the final Sunday of the Fair. People stayed through it all, until finally, it was time to head home, and face the Fall.
Hand in hand, each held their own sweet memories.
